Upshot Bandit is an Australian whiskey from Whipper Snapper, made from corn, wheat and barley and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
It matures in single barrel, char 3, virgin American oak. Vanilla, caramel and dark fruits lead the flavour, and the whiskey closes on butterscotch and chocolate.
The nose brings oak spice, toffee, apricot and honey. The palate is creamy, with vanilla, caramel, dark fruits and maple syrup. The finish is soft, with butterscotch, chocolate and dried fruits.
