Whipper Snapper Upshot Cask Strength is an Australian whiskey from Western Australia, bottled at 63% abv in a 70cl bottle. It was named Western Australia's champion whiskey in 2019 and 2020. The whiskey goes into the barrel at a traditional 63.5%, which gives a warm, long finish, greater depth and a complex mouthfeel. The nose offers toasted pecan, toffee and vanilla. The palate is warm with caramel, butterscotch and macadamia, and has a rich, oily texture. The long finish carries vanilla and chocolate.
