Whipper Snapper Upshot is an Australian whiskey matured in PX sherry casks, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The barrels came from the MyattsField winery, which is known for fortified wines, and had previously held Pedro Ximenez and Muscat. The nose brings raisins, raspberries, cranberries and black pepper. The palate is sweet, with syrup, sultanas, dark fruits, chocolate and a little vanilla, in a creamy texture. The finish is creamy and rich, with dark honey and cherries.
