Normandie is an American single malt from Whiskey Del Bac, matured in new American white oak and then finished in ex-Calvados barrels. Calvados is an apple brandy made only in Normandy, France, and it typically shows green apple, citrus, cherry and freshly cut flowers.
On the nose it is described as caramel-dipped apples, sour cherry and dulce de leche. Bright citrus leads the palate, with pepper across the middle. The finish is short and sweet, with caramel and stone fruit.
