Whiskey Del Bac – Old Pueblo American Single Malt

Old Pueblo is an American single malt from Whiskey Del Bac, made in the American Southwest and bottled on-site. It is a white whiskey, sometimes called white dog, and it is never aged. The spirit is made from 100% barley, which is malted and smoked over a Velvet Mesquite fire, then mashed, fermented and distilled in copper pots. The mesquite smoke gives it a distinctly south-western character, and it is best suited to cocktails. The nose is desert campfire and dried ancho chilli. The palate is rounded, with white chocolate and a balanced minerality.
