WhistlePig 10 Year is a ten-year-old rye whiskey made from an aged stock found in Alberta, Canada. It was rescued from use as a blending whiskey and bottled on its own by hand.
The rye was aged in new American oak and finished in bourbon barrels.
The nose brings allspice, orange peel, anise, oak, char and caramel. The palate is sweet, with caramel and vanilla, then rye spice and mint. The finish is long, with warm butterscotch and caramel.
