WhistlePig – Snout-to-Tail 10 Year Old Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 44%)

WhistlePig Snout-to-Tail is a straight bourbon aged for a minimum of 10 years in toasted Vermont oak barrels. It is bottled at 44% ABV in a 75cl bottle. The name refers to two toasted barrel heads, the snout and the tail, which bring the robust notes of Vermont oak to the whiskey. It was conceived as a partner to WhistlePig 10 Rye. The nose offers honey, brown sugar and toasted cashew. Roasted almonds and baked cornbread lead the palate, followed by a finish of butterscotch, fresh wheat crust and cedar.
