FarmStock Rye Crop No. 003 is the third release in WhistlePig's annual, limited edition Triple Terroir Whiskey, bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
It is made from the distillery's own rye, distilled and proofed with its own water, and aged in custom Vermont white oak.
The nose is sweet and aromatic, with vanilla, maraschino, roasted chestnuts and a hint of cigar box. Oak, toffee and baking spices lead the palate, followed by soft creme brulee and rose petals. The finish is warm and lasting, with a pleasant rye spice.
