WhistlePig – Farmstock Rye Crop No.3 Bottled in Barn

WhistlePig Farmstock Rye is a rye whiskey from Crop No. 3, labelled Bottled in Barn. It comes from WhistlePig, a producer based on a farm in Shoreham, Vermont. The farm covers 200 hectares, with 120 planted with rye and a quarter given over to American oak trees that supply wood for the company's own casks. Slow growth in the northern climate is said to give those casks a different maturation from oak grown in warmer regions.
