WhistlePig Old World Rye is a 12 year old rye whisky at 86 proof, finished in three different types of barrel.
After 12 years in new American oak, the spirit is divided among Madeira (63%), Sauternes (30%) and Port (7%) barrels.
The nose is caramel, vanilla and winter fruits. On the palate, spicy rye meets apricots, plums, grapes, dates and honey. The finish brings dark chocolate together with winter fruits, caramel and vanilla.
