WhistlePig – Rye 10 Year Old (70cl)

A 10 year old small batch rye whiskey from WhistlePig, in a 70cl bottle. It is a high-rye whiskey, bottled at 100 proof, and it is the expression that began the distillery's rye range. It is certified Kosher. The character is spice-forward, with new layers of flavour said to come with each year of age. The nose brings allspice, orange peel, anise, oak, char and caramel. The palate is sweet, with caramel and vanilla followed by rye spice and mint. The finish is long, with warm butterscotch and caramel.
