WhistlePig Snout To Tail is a 10 year old straight bourbon made in Vermont and bottled at 44% ABV in a 75cl bottle. After ageing it goes through a secondary finishing process called the Two-Headed Toast, in which each barrel head is toasted differently. The Snout Toast and Tail Toast each add their own character from Vermont oak.
It is typically described with a nose of toasted oak, caramel and vanilla, a palate of roasted almonds, dried fruit and toffee, and a smooth, lingering finish with toasted marshmallow and warming spices.
