A five-year-old Japanese single malt from the White Oak Distillery, also known as Eigashima and home of the Akashi brand. It was matured in sherry casks rather than finished in them, and is bottled at 50% in a 50cl bottle.
The whisky is young and punchy, with a strong, exuberant sherry character.
