White Oak – Akashi 5 Year Old White Wine Cask Single Malt Japanese Whisky (50cl, 50%)

White Oak Akashi 5 Year Old is a Japanese single malt from the White Oak Distillery in Akashi, on the Seto Inland Sea in Hyogo Prefecture. It is bottled at 50% in a 50cl bottle. The whisky spent four and a half years in cognac barrels, then a further ten months in white wine barrels from a vineyard in Yamanashi. It has floral and white fruit notes. It is bottled without colouring or cold filtration.
