Whitlaw is a five-year-old Island single malt from The Ultimate, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky was distilled on 24 September 2014 and bottled on 9 January 2020, after maturing in a dechar/rechar butt.
The nose has light peat and smoke, followed by orange, apple and vanilla. The palate is robust and complex, with smoke, pepper, apple and salted caramel. The finish closes with a last wisp of smoke.
