This is a 50 year old blended Scotch whisky made to mark the 175th anniversary of Whyte & Mackay.
It was matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon barrels, Matusalem oloroso sherry butts, a Tawny Port pipe and 30 year old Apostoles sherry butts. Whyte & Mackay describe it as the most complex blend they have bottled.
It shows notes of macerated plums and Manuka honey, alongside sticky toffee pudding.
