Triple Matured is a blended Scotch from Whyte & Mackay. Single malt and grain whiskies are first aged separately, then combined and matured together in sherry casks.
The nose is smooth, with marzipan, Manuka honey, creamy caramel and Demerara sugar, followed by glazed pineapple, cider apples and praline chocolate.
The palate opens with tropical fruits, rose hip syrup, caramelised orange segments and macaroons, then finishes with peaches in syrup, liquorice and Seville marmalade.
