Widow Jane American Oak Aged is a rye whiskey from the United States, bottled at 45.5% ABV. It is distilled from a mash of mostly rye grain with a touch of barley, and is at least two years old. It is described as a spicy summer rye that works well in cocktails, with a good bitter, a splash of vermouth or ginger beer. The nose offers clover honey, orange peel and tea. The palate has brown sugar, white pepper and rye grain, followed by dried peach and almond biscuit on the finish.
