This is a bottled-in-bond bourbon from Wilderness Trail in Danville, Kentucky, made to a rye recipe of 64% corn, 24% rye and 12% malted barley, with proprietary yeast strains.
Each small batch is drawn from up to 12 barrels, all from a single fermenter, so the batch reflects several barrels of the same distillate.
The spirit was barrelled at 110 proof in toasted, number 4 char cooper-select barrels, and aged in Rickhouse A and Rickhouse B.
