Never Say Die is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 47.5% in a 750ml bottle. It was distilled at Wilderness Trail in Danville from a mashbill of 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley. The barrels spend at least five years maturing in Kentucky, then cross the Atlantic by ship over six weeks. They finish with at least one more year at White Peak Distillery in Derbyshire, which makes this the first bourbon to complete its maturation in England. The nose is dark berry compote and chocolate ganache, with root beer candy and spearmint. The palate brings blackberry, vanilla, poached pear, clove and ginger. The finish is creamy and vanilla-sweet, with orange candy and charred oak.
