Dark Door is a small-batch bourbon from Wildwood Spirits of Bothell, Washington, bottled at 45% ABV. It is made from organic, non-GMO grains sourced locally and matured in new American oak barrels.
The mash bill is approximately 73% corn, 15% wheat and 12% malted barley.
The nose is led by caramelised sugar and toffee, with orange blossom, vanilla bean and a light floral lift. The palate is smooth and medium-bodied, moving from sweet corn and wheat to vanilla custard, toasted oak, praline and soft orchard fruit. The finish is clean and warm, with lingering nuttiness.
