A 12 year old single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled by Willett Distillery of Bardstown from whiskey distilled elsewhere and selected by the Willett team. It comes from barrel 3660 and is bottled at barrel strength, 60.5% ABV (121 proof), in a 750ml bottle supplied with a tube.
It is non-chill filtered and was hand-bottled directly from a single cask.
The nose offers dark caramel, toasted oak, vanilla bean, dried cherry and baking spice. On the palate come brown sugar, charred oak, toffee and rye pepper with a dense mouthfeel. The finish is long and drying, led by oak, with lingering sweetness.
