Barrel #2089 was selected and bottled by Willett Distillery in Bardstown. The whiskey was distilled at another Kentucky distillery, and the label carries a sourced designation to show it is not Willett's own make.
The nose is caramel, dark cherry and toasted oak with a hint of tobacco. On the palate come rich vanilla, dried fruit, warm spice and well-integrated oak tannins. The finish is long, dry and warming, with oak and chocolate.
