Willett Speakeasy Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 49%)

Willett Speakeasy is a Kentucky straight bourbon, distilled, aged and bottled at the Willett Distillery in Bardstown by Kentucky Bourbon Distillers. It comes in a 750ml bottle at 49% ABV (98 proof). The name nods to the hidden bars that kept serving bourbon through Prohibition, from 1920 to 1933. The Willett family began distilling commercially in the years just after Repeal, which gives the name a personal link to the distillery. Brown sugar, molasses and caramel lead the nose, with warm oak and a touch of vanilla. On the palate come vanilla, cinnamon and caramel, and the finish is sweet and warm with gentle oak spice.
