William Heavenhill 16 Year Old is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill, named after the Heavenhill family patriarch. The land where Heaven Hill's original distillery was built belonged to the family, and a clerical transcription error split their surname into two words, which became the brand name. The bourbon is made from Heaven Hill's high-rye mashbill and has matured for 16 years. Its colour is a deep amber. The nose brings caramel, dried fruit and warm oak. On the palate it is rich and layered, with deep oak, dried fruit, leather and warm spice. The finish is long and warm.
