William Larue Weller Bottled 2021 Barrel Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 62.6%)

William Larue Weller is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled by hand in 2021 at barrel proof. This release is 62.65% ABV, uncut and unfiltered, and comes in a 75cl bottle. Wheat takes the place of the traditional rye grain in the recipe, a method pioneered by W.L. Weller. The nose is described as caramel corn, new leather, plums, light toffee and pipe tobacco. On the palate come marshmallow, salted almonds, nougat, figs and dates, and the finish is smooth, composed and sweet.
