Wire Works Bourbon Barrel Finish Single Malt English Whisky (70cl, 53.4%)

Wire Works Bourbon Barrel Finish is an English single malt from White Peak Distillery, bottled at 53.4% in a 70cl bottle. It is a vatting of lightly peated malt matured exclusively in ex-bourbon barrels, which are less active casks and let the distillery's whisky style come through. The nose brings vanilla cheesecake, white chocolate, lemon curd and candied ginger, alongside fruit salad sweets and peaches and cream. On the palate are custard creams, lemon zest, honey and gingerbread, with chocolate-covered peanuts. The finish turns to apple crumble, Murray Mints, lime pickle and white pepper.
