Wire Works Bourbon Barrel (70cl)

Wire Works Bourbon Barrel is a lightly peated English whisky from White Peak Distillery in Derbyshire, in a 70cl bottle. It is the second addition to the Wire Works core range, after Caduro, and the distillery's first whisky matured entirely in ex-bourbon barrels, including some of the oldest casks in the warehouse. It won a gold medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in 2025. Aromas of digestive biscuits, wood shavings and icing sugar lead to a rich, sweet palate balanced by gentle peat and fruit. The long, spicy finish brings fruitcake and faint bonfire smoke.
