Wire Works Moscatel Finish Single Malt English Whisky (70cl, 53.6%)

Wire Works is a single malt English whisky from White Peak Distillery, finished in Moscatel casks and bottled at 53.6% in a 70cl bottle. It is sweet and oily in style, with peaches, apricots, orange peel and crème brûlée. The nose is full of dried apricots, flaked almonds, orange fondant, cherries and papaya, with sweeter touches of icing sugar and dolly mixture. Marzipan, fresh orange peel, gooseberries and elderflower appear on the palate, alongside cinnamon buns and candied ginger. Cranberries, nutmeg and orange marmalade come through in the finish.
