Wolfburn 10 Year Old is the first ten year old single malt from the Highland distillery, which began production on 25 January 2013. It is bottled at 46% and was matured in second-fill Oloroso sherry casks.
The notes describe soft sherry aromas of very ripe dried fruit such as raisins and figs, with vanilla and a hint of toasted oak. The palate is rich and complex, with dark chocolate, dark fruit, vanilla, caramel and nutmeg. The finish is silky and long, with light sherry-cask tannins and lingering caramel and dried fruit sweetness.
