This is a single malt Scotch whisky from Wolfburn, the northernmost mainland distillery in Scotland, bottled at 46% ABV. It matured in second-fill ex-oloroso sherry and ex-bourbon casks.
The nose is a balanced mix of sweet and floral notes with a touch of peat smoke. The palate is rich and fruity, with honey and caramelised sugar, gentle spices and a steady sherry sweetness.
The finish is long, delicate and warming, leaving traces of dried fruit and caramel.
