Wolfburn is a single malt from the most northerly mainland distillery in Scotland. This is batch 204, a limited single batch bottling at 46%, finished in a former Madeira wine cask.
The nose brings apples, quince and raisins, with fine notes of vanilla and caramel. On the palate come sweet plums and pears, Madeira wine, oak and vanilla, followed by toffee and dark chocolate. The finish is sweet and creamy.
