This is a single cask Highland single malt from Wolfburn, distilled in 2014 at the most northerly distillery on the Scottish mainland. It was bottled at 50% ABV.
After its initial maturation, the whisky was finished in a former ruby port cask.
The nose is fruity, with raspberry, vanilla, sponge biscuit, redcurrant juice and light spice. On the palate it opens creamy, with strawberry jam, plum and apple, alongside allspice and sage. The finish is of good length, creamy and fruity.
