This is a single cask single malt from Wolfburn, distilled in 2014 and bottled at 7 years old. It comes from Cask 168, at 57% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and the release is limited to 270 bottles worldwide.
The nose offers freshly made doughnuts, earthy vanilla, coconut and buttered bread. The palate brings layers of apricot jam and brown sugar, with a touch of new leather later on. The finish is subtly earthy, with a hint of new oak spiciness.
