Wolfburn Single Cask Release Number 168 is a Highland single malt distilled in 2014 and aged for 7 years in a first fill ex-bourbon cask. It is bottled at 57% in a 70cl bottle, and only 270 bottles were filled.
The nose is of freshly made doughnuts, earthy vanilla, coconut and buttered bread. On the palate come layers of apricot jam and brown sugar, with a touch of new leather later on. The finish is subtly earthy, with a hint of new oak spice.
