Wolfburn Single Cask Release Number 188 is a Highland single malt distilled in 2013 and aged for 8 years in a second fill PX hogshead. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle, and only 306 bottles were filled.
The nose is of dates and walnuts, with a good hint of earthy vanilla pod. The palate is peppery and honeyed, with soft hints of peat, rich red berry sweetness and sugary coffee. The finish is sweet, with honey, sultana and cinnamon.
