Wolfburn – Small Batch 155 Single Malt (70cl, 46%)

Wolfburn Small Batch 155 is the distillery's fourth small-batch release, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, with 5,300 bottles in total. It is the first Wolfburn matured in one type of cask and finished in another: close to five years in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, then six months in port hogsheads. It is a smooth, rich, easy-drinking whisky with a deep colour and a depth of sweet flavours from the port influence. The batch number refers to Warehouse 1, where the casks matured, and row 55, where they were stored.
