Wolfburn – Small Batch No. 155 (70cl, 46%)

Batch 155 is the fourth small-batch release from Wolfburn, a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. Only 5300 bottles were filled. It is the first Wolfburn matured in one type of cask and finished in another: close to five years in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, then six months in port hogsheads. The port influence brings a depth of sweet flavours and a rich colour. The batch is named after Warehouse 1, where the casks matured, and row 55, where they were placed.
