A Christmas bottling of Wolfburn single malt, released for the 2023 festive season. Wolfburn is the most northerly mainland distillery in Scotland, and this edition was limited to 1,800 bottles at 46%.
The nose offers sweet sherry notes with dried fruit, vanilla, and a hint of coffee and dark chocolate. The palate is juicy, with rich toffee and syrup, cocoa and vanilla, and fruity sweetness with autumn fruit and honey. The finish is warm and soft, with vanilla that fades gently to a trace of caramel.
