Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition is a Kentucky bourbon finished in XO Cognac barrels, bottled at 45.2% ABV and presented in a Baccarat decanter.
Master Distiller Chris Morris sourced the barrels, each of which had held cognac for three seasons before being filled with Woodford Reserve. The finish brings together American and French oak notes with fruit character and subtle spice.
The nose and palate offer toasted oak dusted with chocolate and cocoa, vanilla bean, clove and cinnamon over dried fruit and citrus peel. The finish is velvety and long, with delicately spiced caramel and mocha.
