Woodford Reserve – Double Oaked

Woodford Reserve Double Oaked is a Kentucky bourbon from the distillery in Woodford County, founded in 1812. It is matured twice, in two different oak casks. The whiskey first rests in heavily charred white oak casks. It then moves into new casks that are more heavily toasted and lightly charred, which lets the natural sugars of the wood come through. The flavour is deep, rich and strongly woody, with caramel, vanilla and dried fruit on the palate.
