Woodford Reserve Straight Malt is an American malt whiskey bottled at 45.2% in a 70cl bottle. Its mash bill is 51% malted barley, 47% corn and 2% rye, which sets it apart from Scotch malts made entirely from malted barley. It meets the American definition of straight whiskey: made from a fermented grain mash, distilled to no more than 80% alcohol and matured for at least two years in new charred oak. The brand is better known for its bourbon, and its rye is also popular.
