This is the 2023 vintage of Woodford Reserve Double Double Oaked, a Kentucky Straight Bourbon bottled at 45.2% ABV in a 375ml bottle.
After its first maturation in new charred oak, the bourbon is moved through two further finishing barrels, each deeply toasted and lightly charred, giving a four-barrel sequence in all. That process builds concentrated caramel, honey and toasted wood sweetness. The bourbon comes from the Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles, Kentucky.
