Woodford Reserve Historic Barrel Entry (70cl, 45.2%)

Woodford Reserve Historic Barrel Entry is an American whisky from the Woodford Reserve Distillery, bottled at 45.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It has a deep, reddish orange colour. The nose combines vanilla pod and dried apple with nutmeg, clove, cinnamon and a hint of cocoa, while roasted coffee and hazelnut are softened by dark cherry, plum and spearmint. On the palate, rich toasted oak meets overripe banana and cooked berries, with leather, coffee, baking spices and bitter chocolate with mint. The finish is lingering, with charred oak, leather and orange oil.
