Woodford Reserve is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey in a 70cl bottle. It is made in small batches, using all five sources of bourbon flavour.
Bourbon making is recorded on the site of the Woodford Reserve Distillery, a National Historic Landmark, as far back as 1812. The whiskey is described as carrying more than 200 detectable flavour notes.
These run from bold grain and wood through sweet aromatics and spice to fruit and floral notes, ending in a crisp, clean finish.
