Woodford Reserve Masters Collection Four Grain Batch #2 is the second annual release of a Kentucky straight bourbon made at the Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles, Kentucky. It was distilled in triple copper pot stills. The mash bill combines corn, wheat, rye and malted barley. Four Grain was the founding release of the Masters Collection, introduced by Master Distiller Chris Morris in 2005, and this batch uses a different set of mature barrels. Rye and wheat sit together in the mash, bringing spice alongside softness. Tasting notes describe corn sweetness, rye spice, wheat softness and malted barley nuttiness on the nose, with rye spice and wheat softness on the palate. The finish is medium to long, with gentle spice and warm oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
