This is the 2022 Woodford Reserve Masters Collection Toasted Oat Grain, a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 375ml bottle. The mash bill is corn, oats in place of rye, and malted barley, distilled in triple copper pot stills at Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles, Kentucky.
The bourbon matures first in new charred American oak and then receives a toasted barrel finish. The oats give a soft, creamy, porridge-like grain character, while the toasted wood adds caramelised sweetness and vanilla.
