Woodford Reserve Straight Malt Whiskey (70cl, 45.2%)

A straight malt whiskey from the Woodford Reserve Distillery in the United States, bottled at 45.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The nose combines soft walnut notes with light caramel and milk chocolate over apple, dried fruit and tropical fruit, with brown spice, salted mint, brown sugar and freshly ground toasted oak. The palate brings dark-chocolate-coated nuts and caramel, drying to cocoa powder and brown spice, with a bright run of fruit, toasted coconut and rich oak. The finish carries nuts and gently sweet chocolate malt.
