Writers' Tears Double Oak is an Irish whiskey matured in two kinds of oak: American bourbon barrels and French Cognac barrels. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 46% abv. The flavours run from ripe apple and pear to vanilla, honey and soft caramel, with a gentle spiciness and hints of cocoa. The finish is creamy, with wood and sweet spices.
