This is a cask strength Irish whiskey that blends Irish single malt with single pot still whiskey. It began as a travel retail release marking the Rugby World Cup in Japan.
The whiskey was aged in ex-Bourbon casks, then finished for nine months in Mizunara oak casks from Japan. The finishing is expected to add notes of sandalwood, coconut, spice and Japanese incense. It is bottled at 55% and is non-chill filtered.
